Our Mission
At Alevia Recovery. Reform. our mission is to create clear pathways for recovery, accountability, and lasting behavioural change for individuals navigating the justice, community safety, and family law systems as well as those who self-refer seeking personal growth and support.
We recognise that people engage with our programs for many reasons: to meet legal or therapeutic goals, to support Family Court or parenting matters, or simply to create meaningful change in their own lives.
We believe genuine reform begins with understanding harm, restoring accountability, and empowering individuals to make sustainable, self-directed choices.
Our programs bridge the gap between rehabilitation and reintegration, offering structured, trauma-informed interventions that recognise each participant’s unique capacity for change.
Delivered one-to-one by qualified counsellors, social workers, nurses and psychologists, every program provides a safe, confidential, and culturally respectful environment where participants can rebuild stability, strengthen insight, and reconnect with family and community.
We are committed to working collaboratively with courts, legal professionals, and community agencies while also supporting individuals who choose to engage with Alevia Recovery. Reform. independently ensuring that every participant is guided not only to meet formal expectations but to achieve genuine personal transformation.

"When I first got told to do this program, I didn’t think it would help. I just wanted to get it over and done with.
But after a few sessions, I started to actually understand why I was doing the stuff I was doing.
They didn’t talk down to me they actually listened and helped me figure things out without judging me.
We talked about how to deal with anger and how to think about things so i could make better choices.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, I'm going to go start an apprenticeship, they referred me to a psychologist, so i have more support and I actually feel like I’ve got a chance to do something good with my life, even the corrections lady said she was proud of me"

"I’ve been in and out of the system since I was a teenager.
For a long time, I thought being part of the crew was all I had.
When I started the serious and organised crime reform program, I didn’t think it would make a difference and i was just doing it to get it done.
But I'm a few sessions in now and I've realised I’d never actually stopped to think about the harm not just to others, but especially to myself and my family.
It's helped me break things down without judgement, how I got here, what I actually value, and how I can make choices that don’t end with someone getting hurt or me going inside.
I’m still facing my charges and am on strict conditions but i was granted bail to participate in the program, and I started within a few days, I’m not the same person that showed up here on day 1 and I'm hopeful that when the time comes i will be able to show everyone i am able to change.
I’m focused on doing things for myself.
This program is giving me the space to take responsibility and figure out who I want to be and what I want for myself and my future. "

"When I started the Family program, I was in a really bad place.
I was angry, hurt, and felt like my ex and the Family Court stuff had completely taken over my life.
I didn’t realise how much that stress was affecting my kids and me.
The sessions helped me slow down and actually think before reacting.
I learned how to talk without turning everything into an argument and how to focus on what my child needs instead of trying to ‘win.’
My counsellor kept it real they didn’t judge, they held me accountable.
I have started seeing things from my child’s point of view and have good insight into my own behaviours.
This program hasn't just helped me with court it's helped me become a better parent and a better man.
I could book in and join the program straight away instead of waiting for other group programs to be available and i could do all my weekly sessions at home after work.
I’m really glad I did it and i encourage other blokes or even women to give it a go"
Niko. T
"When I first started the Awareness anger management program, I honestly thought it was just another box I had to tick for court.
But after the first few sessions, I realised it was actually about me about understanding why I react the way I do.
I used to let anger take over before I even stopped to think.
I didn’t see how much damage that caused to the people around me and to myself.
Through this program, I’ve learned to pause and recognise what’s really happening inside before things get out of control.
I’ve learned better ways to deal with stress, frustration, and conflict ways that don’t end with someone getting hurt or me in trouble again.
I can’t change what I’ve done, but I can take responsibility for it and make sure it never happens again.
This program has given me the tools to do that."
